Where to start...

Well, it was the day of my college ball, so in the afternoon I took a tram down to get a haircut. On the way back, I missed a stop due to one of the "push to alight" buttons not working properly. Didn't really matter as my college sits between those two stops anyway. Basic theory of tram usage for any of those who haven't been in melbourne. When alighting, it is sometimes (often even) necessary to cross the road (from the middle to the side) whilst alighting. The theory is that vehicles should stop for alighting passengers. Most of us, however, do check for traffic. I normally do as well. Somehow, probably a mix of factors including being in a hurry to get back and get changed for ball, I didn't check before alighting that day. Suffice to say cars don't slow down very easily. Got hit at a relatively low speed, which fractured my left lateral malleolus (the bump on the outside of the left foot). Been on crutches since, which is rather annoying. There are only so many things you can do for yourself whilst on crutches.

Project R went into full motion last friday. Jeff, yong and I planned to starve the whole day and go for a eat all you can buffet. samuel was in london on that day and so more pple joined our Project R. here's the pics:

Well, I felt that nott games was better than last year for me! Ahhaha managed to win in bball but lost in quarter finals tho.. at first it was disappointing becos the team we were suppose to challenge, Uni of East London (UEL I think) pulled out after losing to imperial team b. ahahahha oh yea, me and aaron joined Birmingham together with Samuel. 6 of us in the b’ham team which was not bad. The captain anson was a good player tho. Ahhaha

Anyways, playing bball back then was really rough… lots of foul n hand slapping but the thing I hated during the game were the referees -___- blind cocks… dunno wad the hell were they doing also… played IC team B and we won but there was some controversy cos ic claimed that they won n the score was counted wrongly… couldn’t be bothered bout the commotion cos we were too tired ahahah the final score was 13-12 but in the end, it became a draw! So we had to shoot 3 free throws to decide who was the winner. I took the first shot BUT… unfortunately, it bounced out >_<>_< luckily ic missed their 2nd shot too. Anson took the last shot n it WENT IN!!! yay!!! So we won cos ic missed their 3rd shot :P but it was a really close game… good game too! After that, we lost to warwick in q-finals… asses man, all of them we so rough n action -__- they sent all the hong kong ppl to play for the team I bet, all speaking Cantonese n sounding like typical hong kong ppl and looking like one also!!! Hahaha about that, I dun care as long as they provided the competition BUT, wei shen or someone said that the warwick supporters suspected that our team consisted of non-msians cos we all didn’t look msians -____- waddddd nonsense? Lol we had azizul, sam’s fren, playing for us n he was malay!!! O_O

But THANKS TO EVERYONE for supporting us during the bball game :P it really helped us during the game hahah but these warwick supporters.. -__- tell them to grow up la… our supporters shouting “BIRMINGHAM” and they shouted “SUCKS”. Come on, where’s the sportsmanship? Ahhahah KIDS… :P

Man, I was deprived of sleep be4 goin to Nottingham man! O_o stayed up watching sky tv at my fren’s place then slept for an hour in the bus n then stayed up thru out the whole journey till Nottingham… goodness… luckily I still had energy to play bball man hahahaha

soon and i cooked today (he did most of it) muhaha and he somehow managed to set fire to some tissue paper while he was transferring the ("golden brown") fries onto the plate. and the cock tried to put it out by blowin it, but only succeeded in makin the fire worse. hahah.

aw and this damn cat (soon nicknamed it molly) that keeps coming into the house and messing up the place! i swear im gonna kill that fukkin cat. he came in earlier to steal some prawns and left his oily paw marks all over the dining table. someone tell me how to catch it.

Heh. My one week mid semester break just started. Not that it'll be much of a break. Too much work to catch up with.

I switched the comments date/time formatting to include the date posted, instead of just the time posted. Hope nobody minds. I also deleted that one post where we got a spam comment. Now THAT was annoying.

Damn. Where has time gone. All of a sudden we're finished with the 10th week of uni, and only 6 more weeks to go before the exams. So screwed.

Am also fairly curious to see if my avatar still appears.

-edit- Thought not. Have also realised that the easiest way to correct the problem which is accessible to me is to shift all the avatar pictures to somewhere i can rename them. man, hurricane katrina did some major shit to new orleans man O_o it's chaotic there now... tsk tsk... n the mayor of new orleans lashed out at the federal government for their ultra slow response. man, u shud have heard him talk on the local radio man... freaking pissed!!! ahahhaha but just a thought.. how come when disasters happen outside america like the tsunami, america would be the first to respond and offer help but when hurricane katrina struck new orleans, they were slow to respond? man... just watch cnn news and u'll find out how horrible it is out there... all of them are homeless, hungry, frustrated, dirty etc etc... my God...

damn it, i just sprained my ankle yesterday playing bball... yea, reminds me of the days back in cc during our bball session and i'll never forget that i sprained my ankle just the day be4 the AS Level chemistry paper -__- but this sprain now is wayyyyyy worse than any other sprains i got!!! would LOVE to take a pic of it but... it'll take ages to load the pics up so dun bother~ :P heehhehe luckily i had it massaged last nite. even though it hurt a lot, i think it helped a lot too :) argh...... the painnnnn......

oh man, things are getting pretty scary in london... bomb scare and just 4 hours ago, a guy got shot dead in one of the tube station -__- wad is going on!??!?! maybe i know why... the "londoners" are publicly announcing that they are NOT AFRAID. nothing wrong being not afraid but don't have to announce it to the public right? it's only drawing more attention for ppl to cause more trouble and attacks -__- oh man, what are they thinking of????? anyways, the bombs failed to go off and the guy who got shot dead was because they suspected him of being a suicide bomber... who wouldn't if u were wearing a baseball cap and a very thick jacket in summer? anyways, the guy was an asian (not chinese, duh). man, it's scary to go back to london man... u wouldn't what would happen next. shit happens like they say O_o damn it....

okay, so it's finally my turn to be backkkkkkkk home!!! yayyyy!! well, found out that my ticket expires on the 12th july so i had to come back be4 then so i flew yesterday(sunday) and back here on monday! ehheheh i must say it was the longest trip ever -___- i only had 3 hours of sleep be4 going to the airport... there, i didn't do much at the airport but i "planned" to sleep in the plane but failed cos i ended up watching movies which i must say has improved from last time!!! but the games sucked even more... anyways, when we got to klia, the flight to kuching via johor was delayed till 11a.m!! then we flew to johor and our flight got delayed till 1.15pm!! UGHHHH wasted 1 bloody hour in johor airport doing nothing!!! finally reached my beloved home at about 3pm... ahhhhh homeeeeee sweeet homeeeeeeeee :) peaceful and quiet.... ahhhhh time for me to enjoy my hols and catch up with wad i have missed! heheeh

Was out yesterday with tiong soon and some friends when i got the call from home about the London bombings. they were trying to contact my brother but to no avail. rushed home immediately, tried all possible ways to call him. cnn was showing live breaking news, and i was desperately checking the areas targeted. everyone in London were calling friends and relatives and the phone networks were flooded and impossible to connect through.

then i got on msn as he sometimes went online at work and was relieved to see him online but he wasn't replying at first. when he finally answered, me, my mon and dad gave a huge sigh of relief. he said the bombs were up north and not near where he was but wif all transport networks down, he had to walk home that day. later that night, contacted yong. he and his family are also safe in London.

the feeling i had when we were unable to contact my bro, it was the first time in my life.. it was really scary and thank god he is safe. all these terrorists have no consideration at all. pple say "why r there terrorists? they're here becos the world leaders threaten their ideals and beliefs". i say these terrorist attacks kill the innocent citizens and not the politicians. if their ideals teach then to harm the innocent, then i guess there's a good reason to threaten them.

like tony blair said, muslims in Britain are good law-abiding citizens. this attack is not motivated by any religious belief or any political ideals, it's just slaughter of innocents.

yes, i'm here blogging in my uni library, the day after the bomb blasts which happened down in central london. thank God i woke up late and didn't go out... but if i were to go out, i would be out later in the afternoon so it would be ok. the bombs went off during rush hours and at that time, i was still asleep and when i woke up at 12pm, i switched my phone on n suddenly i've got 3 msges and i was just dumbfounded when i was told that there were bomb blasts in central london O_o whoa... my bro n mum were stuck at mile end and stratford for a few hours... and i totally could not call any of them cos of the jammed network... everyone calling their loved ones here n there... real disaster -___- well, luckily i'm studying and staying outside zone 1 :) HA HA! it's good to be staying at the end of the world lol staying away from all those attacks... heheheheh anyways, the bad news is... i'll be going bback later... not sure when... thanks to the damn terrorist attacks... SH*T! and i was so looking forward to go back this SUNDAY!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

exams are finally over, followed by a whirlwind of hectic things to do. been to barca and back. the five day trip was really worth it, but it would have been better if the weather's thermostat didn't go cranky. the architecture was nice, and so was the food. squid ink rice 'arroz negro' totally rocks.

back in london. heat is killing me. packed all my stuff in less than 4 hours. sleep deprived and blisters all over feet from trudging around in slippers. moved my stuff for storage today, then helped wen yen carry some of his stuff down. had to run to union to do something, then saw a friend there who coincidentally was moving stuff too. helped him moved stuff for a bit, then went to watch star wars. later at 12 moved more stuff again. only this time, the elevator was broke and we have to lug a whole vanful of boxes all the way up six storeys high. oh my aching back.

and on top of that, i am buried in a mountain of assignments to complete before i go back.

anyways, got the pics from wei shen last nite so decided to show u guys wad the accident was like last september be4 going out to uk for uni... hehehe and wui seng and wen yen, it's not some X-GAMES like u guys mentioned man =____= deeks haha oh yea, it wasn't me who was driving... it was my "terrorist" friend who drove it ahhaha anyways, to cut the long story short, as we were about to reach the beach resort, my fren sped at the turning and the car swerved n turned 180 degrees round n slid across the road nearly hitting a motorcyclist and then BANG, the pajero smashed against the tree n the pajero overturned into the man made ditch...AND, i can't believe the other 4, cindy, wui seng, pei shuen n wei shen happened to pass us without realizing that a overturned pajero was right across the road in the ditch =____= anyways, look at the pics to see what i mean

went to watch batman begins last friday and i must agree with wen yen that it was a good show... had this darkness around bruce... somehow i was more impressed with this new batman film compared to the other ones... yeah, everyone critisized about theone where c-looney acted in... the script was badly written and it was just... not interesting to watch at all! was about to watch sin city after batman begins but there was no one in the cineplex where sin city was supposed to be shown so we left :( oh well...

watched batman begins today. anyone watched it yet? i thought it was a really good movie as it portrayed batman like in the dc comics. batman is a darker character than he seems and not as flamboyant as in the other batman movies(like the george clooney one)

still haven't watched Mr. n Mrs. Smith yet. Movies to look out for: War of the Worlds, Fantastic Four, Chronicles of Narnia.. and maybe Charlie n the chocolate factory. read the book but not sure of how the movie would turn out.

During basketball............ there were 2 things distracting the game.... 1st was the lil furry stuff flying around.... making inhaling a difficulty... i think is those pollen stuff or something...

Brought my car into the tyre shop today to remove a huge nail ( and plugging the hole) in my right rear tyre..fortunately it didnt cost much..5RM =p

When i saw the guy messing with the tyre it kinda reminded me of Adi-T when he helped me out with my bike tyre back in CC haha ;)

Oh..and im doing up my car exhaust system tmr morning..driving down to batu caves to some famous exhaust tuner guy.. =D. Glad that im finally starting sumthing on my car.

since yong,jeff n i have finished my exams and r basically jobless, we Had a farewell thing for Jeff before he left for italy. we had dinner at chinatown then headed for our favourite arcade - Trocadero. was there until half past eleven. played lots of games and took lots of pics. of course we lost lots of 2ps gambling... anyway here's a vid. more to come =)

An Asian lady married an English gentleman and they lived in London. However, the poor lady was not very proficient or comfortable with English but somehow managed to communicate with her husband.

The real problem arose whenever she had to shop for groceries.

One exam over. Pretty alright. Spent 2 weeks studying for it tho. And it's only worth about 22.5% of one subject. 3 more exams in the next 3 days. Tomorrow's is 50% of a subject I'm in danger of failing. And lookee here, I'm blogging.

Sometimes, student life is so hard…… and sometimes it can be so much fun. ….. this 1st yr I’ve been caught up in me work and some interesting friendshit problem… in many ways is an experience in life…. I always learn my mistake by making them…. (tht’s juz so me)…… but thks to ppl like u guys.( juztin, yong, jeff, Andrew, wenyen, soon, wuiseng…….all of u guys…. Not to mention Pshuen, soph …)… u ppl have always been there... . helping me out.. in many lil ways…

So at this time after my exams, I juz took a moment to think and take a big step back and see whether I’m missing out anything ……. Wondering wht I have miss out in London…… I wonder how ppl like Andrew, juztin and Ding are all doing…… are they having the fun of their life…( am I missing out)…. Oh…. It juz makes me wonder……

Sometimes if I’m been to straight to the face or harsh… I’m sorry to those I’ve hurt….. but it’s all about life…. U sometimes make friends… and enemies on the way…….

When I get too bored…. I express my thoughts….. can’t keep it in there…. Otherwise I’ll get to emotion and shit……… so, yea fellas….. some of my thoughts…

My exams just over yesterday!! Feel damm happy.Been reading the group blog inbetween studing sessions. quite entertaining.watched Star Wars last fri.. i thought it was not bad.though some of the acting looks fake.The your so beautiful and its because you are in love.. wtf. Samuel bout your star wars comments, didnt really understand some of it. jedi always seem to drop their light sabers anyway. See all the duels, somebodys light saber is going to drop.

Yesterday i watched house of wax.quite crappy show.the only reason ppl probably watch the show is because of Elisha Cuthbert. Paris Hilton looks like crap.but theres one part where she starts stripping.

Yong i agree with ou that Wui Seng is turning a bit GAY. Every time i msg him on MSN he seems to reply me with a blowjob emoticon..i think he has sent me 3 different types.

I also feel uni life sucks. CC was much more fun. study eat sleep computer.. i think thats has been what i have been doing for the pass month. damm boring life. glad summer hols are coming.hope the reunion wil be good fun.

Most ppls exams should b over by now... and tht's when ppl start celebrating and start having fun (BBQ, drink parties and so on)...

Sometimes they go abit crazy.. like staying up the whole morning and u can here them outside ur window shouting and stuff...( it's pretty annoying)....

Oh well, last week the craziest thing i have witness were seeing ppl plying "DARE" after a drinking party.......
It was a nice morning about 2 in the morning, after some very loud noises tht i could here 3 blocks down fr where i styed. SUDDENLY, i saw ppl running around outside my block and OMG(butt naked).. can u imagine tht seeing tht LIVE outside ur block...
At first there was juz one, then there was another,,.... and another... 3 of them....BUT there were girls laughing behind....... i thought i would get lucky....

well... tt's wad happened when u dun exercise after a long time... body starts to ache O_o anyways, went clubbing on monday nite and also to celebrate one of my fren's bday too. the place, embassy, was not bad but kinda small... the dance floor was kinda small so everyone was like cramped up ahahah must admit that there were more hot chicks compared to the time i went to pacha, near to victoria station... ahhaha then saw this drunk guy trying to hit on some girls which i found it funny ehhehe didn't drink much that nite also... but all went well n got back to my room at 4.30am...

then ltr on that day(tuesday), went out to central with my bro then met up with jeff, wen yen, tze hua, su-yin, yee vonne n muffy for dinner then we went to visit dot at her hostel. also, i started to pack my things already... hope i can finish packing and then move by thursday... so i guess i might not be able to go online for a few days since i don't have any internet connection.

PISTONS WON GAME 4!!!!! YAY!!!! so the series are tied 2-2!!! i'm so happy =D

Ball Hunting

Although the rules state that a hunter has five minutes to search for a lost ball one should never take this much time if not playing in a serious tournament situation. If one person from every group on the course did so during their time on the course, this would translate into approximately 3hrs of ball searching that players behind would have to endure. Upon hitting the ball into a questionable location, first take not of its area as best possible from your current location and then take a maximum of two minutes to search for that ball when arriving in its general location. If the ball can not be found in within two minutes, drop a new ball at the nearest point free of obstructions to where you believe the ball to be and play from there. If all hunters practice this everyone's game will be faster and more enjoyable.

Just finished reading through the blog and tagboards archives. Very amusing. Anyway, just spent the night doing random stuff when I should have been studying. Geez. And yeah, I didn't notice that Wui Seng was missing from the group picture either. And yep, guess we all know who he was frolicking with that day. Spent ages on my last post. WTF is with blogger inserting about 10 break tags just because i left lines between my tags so i could see wth i was doing. Stupidity. Shall get some photos of the place (including one out my window) when day breaks. My window faces a row of other ppl's windows, and it occurred to me that ppl would have been rather weirded out if I were to use a flash in order to get a pic at night. Ah. The Distractions of having my anatomy syllabus on a computer programme. I have 9 days left to the exams and as many weeks to study. Plus I fucked up one componenet in my minor subject that was worth 20%. My major subject I'm not too worried about. Feeling Angsty.Question of the year.
